Christmas Dectoration

 I’ve been busy making a Xmas decoration in sewing, I selected pretty green polka dot fabric and red polka dots. I cut the fabric into small triangles put them on a ball. ready for my Christmas tree! 

The countdown to christmas

 Every day for our centres countdown to Christmas We open a small present with a number that tells us how man days till Christmas. I was excited to open my present and see that there was a candy cane treat just for me. YUM!!

Halloween Disco

 ON friday I had a fun time partying at our Halloween disco party! I dressed up as a purple flowery princess and I looked beautiful. I had fun grooving to the funky music and seeing everyone in their funny costumes.

Tea Party & Soap making

 I had a lovely herbal tea in girls group, we were having a tea party! It was so much fun, we also had nail painting and caught up on the goss! 

I have also been busy making some really cool handmade soaps in crafty creations. they had lavender essence and pieces of lavender to make them soothing and relaxing.

Cowgirl Drummer!!

 Hi Party people! 

I had a really fun time playing the drums dressed as a cowgirl, the drum set has cool lights on it. I drummed along to the beat of some really funky songs! YEEHAA!!

 Hi everyone I am back at Arohanui and happy to see my friends and staff. This morning I has sewing and worked on my funky custom clothing protector. Soon I will be doing some glow in the dark art in sensory under the black light. I hope you are all having a good day like me!

wooden notebook

 I made a beautiful hand made wooden notebook in Woodwork! we cut the wood, sanded it smooth, we used a poker burner to burn my name into the wood and then finished it off with some wood varnish. i filled it with paper and now it is finished! How awesome!

Playing piano

 I love music and really enjoyed playing a duet on the piano

Tactile fun with nature.

 Today I made some sensory windows with items from nature like leaves, I then used some leaves to do crayon rubbing. How cool! 

Life skills

 We had a fun time in life skills talking about hygiene, learning how to wash our hands correctly also.

 This afternoon I am watching the Olympic Games. I wonder who is going to get the gold medal for cycling?
