Girls Day

 Today we are having a special girls day - makeup 💄, baking, pampering and more!

 I am busy helping to make paper flowers 🌸 for our mural. What fun!

Disco 💃 Time!

 I really enjoyed the disco that Mark arranged for us!

Floristry.

 I visit the floristry group this afternoon and made myself a lovely posie of flowers from the center gardens. Mine had daisies, lavender, thyme and more! 

Manicure at the lakes

This morning i went to the lakes to get a manicure and sushi for lunch. I really enjoyed the sushi. I chose a beautiful purple colour for my nails. They look amazing.

Beach theme display

 today I am making beach themed displays for the center.

 I am busy helping to draw circles to turn into flowers for our wearable art competition.

 Today the belly dancers are here showing us their moves!

Wearable art!

 I helped out prepare materials for the ‘wearable art’ competition Arohanui is entering. We are making a dress, with the theme of ‘a walk through Yatton park, through the seasons’. I helped tear strips of plastic for the river.

Sing along

  today we had a ukelele lady come in and we sang songs. It was fun!

Gala Day

 I got to go out to Oropi schools gala day and see a lot of cool ideas, check out these neat bird houses!!

Latin dance!

  Today we were very lucky to have some Latin dance experts come to show us a variation of different dances. It was so fun!

Marshall’s Animal Farm 🐣🦆🐔

 I had an amazing time at Marshall’s Animal Farm. I got to pet and feed the animals.

Pinecone Decorating

 Today I am decorating pinecones so that we can make a Christmas display for floristry.

Ice cream

 What a beautiful day today. I got to enjoy a yummy ice cream this afternoon.

Sonic cinema

 On Friday we went down to the sonic cinema its was great fun we watched the movie abominable and got popcorn!!

 

Fun with the fan!

 i had a fun session of tactile activities playing with a large fan. we floated feathers, tied little strips of ribbon to the fan to watch them fly along with a balloon. I then hovered fabric above the fan and blew off a bunch of leaves. awesome! 

Floristry

 Today in floristry we made made posies using flowers and grasses from the sand dunes. It was fun.i am going to give it to someone at my house.

Pass the parcel

 I played a gms elf pass the parcelfor Alissas birthday. I won a bag of tiny teddies withhundreds and thousands inside them. How awesome. 

Girls group

 Today in girls group I made a beautiful necklace for my sister Gabby! 

Muppets in music

 I enjoyed shaking the shaker to the’Muppets’ with various special guests. I enjoyed it it was so funny!

Makeup time!

today in girls group I had my hair and makeup done! I really enjoyed it!

Relaxing

 I am really enjoying the massage chair! What a great feeling!

A volcanic Eruption!!!

Today in Nature studies we are going to do a wee science experiment and use Baking soda and vinegar to make our volcano erupt. We have been studying volcanic activity in New Zealand and while researching, made a volcano out of recycled cardboard and paper mâché.
We painted the volcano last week and awe can't wait to see it flow with Lava!

Floristry with Sally the dog

Today we had Sally the dog join our floristry session. I enjoyed patting her, holding her lead and she helped us choose flowers for our posies.

Roasting time!

I am having an amazing time today roasting veggies!

The great outdoors.

 I went to Yatton park to enjoy a lovely drive through the trees and check out the flowers in the gardens. I collected a bag full of interesting leaves, seed pods and pine cones! It is so nice to be amongst nature. I loved the purple flowers the most.  

Volcano time

 I enjoyed helping my friends to make a volcano!!

Blue crystals

Today we revealed the Crystals from our crystal growing experiment last week in nature studies. My container grew pretty small blue crystals. Some sneaky crystals decided to leak out and onto a paper towel and grow there. What a surprise! I loved my crystals!

Real Love

I was feeling the love this morning while I watched the Real love video by Robbie Williams and of course Angels,  I chilled with the fibre optic lights and enjoyed the disco lights.
